Alexander Philipp Enberg (born 5 April 1972; age 44) is the actor best known to Star Trek fans for his recurring role as Ensign Vorik on Star Trek: Voyager. He is the son of Voyager co-creator Jeri Taylor and sportscaster Dick Enberg.
Enberg began his screen acting career in the 1990 feature film Pump Up the Volume, starring Christian Slater. He has since appeared in such films as Junior (1994, with Frank Langella, Lawrence Tierney, and Tracey Walter), Panic (2001, with Kristanna S. Loken and Tucker Smallwood), and America's Sweethearts (2001, with Ann Cusack). In 1998, he and his Voyager castmate Manu Intiraymi appeared as students of a drug intervention class in the comedy Senseless. Also featured in this film were fellow Voyager guest actor Brad Dourif, along with Trek alumni Jenette Goldstein, Ivar Brogger, Cyia Batten, and Jack Shearer.
Outside of Star Trek, Enberg has appeared on such television series as Lois & Clark (starring K Callan and Teri Hatcher), Murder One (with Jack Blessing, Barbara Bosson, John Fleck, Jack Kehler, and Clayton Rohner), and NYPD Blue (with Gordon Clapp, Sharon Lawrence, and Aaron Lustig). He was also seen in the made-for-TV movies Gia (1998, with Joan Pringle) and Pirates of Silicon Valley (1999, with J.G. Hertzler, Nikita Ager, Jeffrey Nordling, and Marc Worden).
