Wow, you sure have been busy today! With all these contributions you should really add something to your User Page. -- Krevaner 23:35, 10 Sep 2004 (CEST)

In addition to what Captain Mike said, I would also add that the work you are contributing to MA is greatly appreciated. Few people have the motivation and time to make as many contributions as you have. Our critism, while seemingly voluminous, is only well intentioned. We want everyone who contributes so much to be well informed about MA expectations, standards, and practices so that the most people possible can benefit from their efforts. Again, your contributions are appreciated. -- Mjwilco 00:44, 15 Sep 2004 (CEST)

Battle of Thermopylae Edit

Thank you for making edits to Battle of Thermopylae. Although I am not responsible for writing it (or copying it), I understand the motive of the person trying to make M/A articles as accurate as possible. What I don't understand is that I did something similar to that person (borrowing text from multiple sources, and then rewording it into something more original) yet my article was reverted completely. I attempted to complete the MACO page with more details. It was my belief that if there was too much similarity to the sources, or other reason it didn't meet M/A standards, that I could get some help to make edits or rewrites to bring more it up to snuff. Any thoughts on this?--Mike Nobody 22:05, 2 Nov 2005 (UTC)

  • I'm sorry, I don't understand quite what you are getting at. I just removed non-Trek cited info from a page whose content looked remarkable like the Wikipedia content listed at the link at the bottom of the page. --FuturamaGuy 23:40, 2 Nov 2005 (UTC)
